My Journey –
From Brixton to
J A Coaching
We build for success
I grew up in Brixton and was recognised early on as a talented athlete. I proudly represented the Borough of Lambeth in both athletics and table tennis. While I excelled in these sports, football was always my true passion. My skills on the pitch led to trials with several professional clubs, and I eventually earned a place in the Fulham FC Youth Division.Unfortunately, a serious injury to my left knee brought my football career to an unexpected end. But I didn’t let that stop me. Driven by determination, I found a new purpose.
At 21, I discovered a passion for working with young people. My first experience leading a youth club was a huge success so much so that the Mayor of London at the time, Boris Johnson, visited to recognise the positive impact I had made.
I went on to work with the Fulham FC Foundation for over six years, using my experience in youth work and my FA coaching qualifications to engage 'hard-to-reach' young people through the power of sport.
Later, I became a Physical Education Coach at a primary school in South London, further solidifying my love for supporting young people and families.
This journey inspired me to launch J A Coaching a community-driven company delivering weekend football sessions and school holiday clubs for children of all abilities.
In addition to my youth and community work, I followed my passion for fitness and became a qualified Personal Trainer. I’m committed to helping people stay active, build confidence, and achieve their personal goals.
Aim for your goals in life.
